Haupt- und Verwaltungsort der Insel ist die Stadt Qeschm im Nordosten der Insel. Qeschm ist die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Insel der Stra\u00dfe von Hormoz. Arch\u00e4ologische Untersuchungen ergaben, dass die Insel schon in der Antike besiedelt war. Strategisch g\u00fcnstig gelegen, war Qeschm Jahrhunderte lang das Ziel vieles Frachtschiffe und wird auch in Marco Polos Reisebuch erw\u00e4hnt. Zu den Attraktionen der Insel geh\u00f6ren die Portugiesische Festung, die Khorbas-H\u00f6hlen, der Setaregan-Tal und der Mangrovenwald (Jangal-e Hara). <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Kharbass-H\u00f6hle <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Kharbass-H\u00f6hle liegt 15 km von der Stadt Qeschm, im Nordosten der Insel auf der Stra\u00dfe zum Dorf Khorbass. Die Felsenh\u00f6hle besteht aus mehreren Tunnelg\u00e4ngen und Kammern.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Dareh-e Setaregan (Setaregan-Tal)<\/strong><br \/>\nDer Setaregan-Tal liegt im S\u00fcden der Insel, nahe des Dorfes Khalaf. \u00dcbersetzt bedeutet der Name Sternental. Der Tal gleicht einem Kunstwerk der Erosion und besteht aus einer Landschaft von Felsformationen, Sandsteinen und Felss\u00e4ulen. Die Natur hat Millionen Jahre lang an diesem Ort geschliffen und ihn geformt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Der Namakdan Salzdom<\/strong><br \/>\nAn S\u00fcdwestk\u00fcste der Insel befindet sich ein weiterer Naturschauplatz, ein Salzdom. Der kegelf\u00f6rmige Berg ist 397m hoch. Das Kristallgebilde beinhaltet magmatisch felsige Sedimente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Die Namakdan-H\u00f6hle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Namakdan H\u00f6hle geh\u00f6rt zu den l\u00e4ngsten Salzh\u00f6hlen der Welt und befindet sich im s\u00fcdwestlichen K\u00fcstenabschnitt der Insel<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Der Geopark von Qeschm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Der Geopark wurde in das Netzwerk der f\u00fcr Welt-Geoparks (GGN) der UNESCO aufgenommen. Das geologische Erbe wird im Gebiet des Geoparks erhalten bleiben. Der Geopark von Qeschm ist der erste Geopark im Nahenosten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Dareh-e Chahkooh (Tschahkuh-Schlucht)<\/strong><br \/>\nDie Tschahkuh-Schlucht befindet sich im mittleren S\u00fcdwesten der Insel, 100km s\u00fcdlich der Stadt Qeschm, nahe des Dorfes Taschahkuh. Die Felsformation bietet eine gro\u00dfartige<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Die Insel Lark<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Insel Lark geh\u00f6rt zum Verwaltungsbezirk der Insel Qeschm und liegt 16km \u00f6stlich der Insel. Sie hat eine Fl\u00e4che vom 77qkm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nLark Island is 77 km square and is about 16 km from Qeshm Island. The island is located in southeastern Qeshm. Kegelf\u00f6rmige Vulkanberge, die bis zu 138 m hoch sind, pr\u00e4gen die Insellandschaft. Aus geologischer Sicht ist die Insel ein Salzstock, der am Ende des dritten Jahrhunderts der geologischen Zeitskala entstanden ist. Zu den Attraktionen der Insel geh\u00f6rt eine Portugiesische Festung (aus der Zeit der portugiesischen Pr\u00e4senz im 16. Und 17 Jh.), die nach der Portugiesischen Festung auf der Insel Hormuz die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Festung dieser Art im Persischen Golf ist.
