ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival - Tehran

Arrival at Tehran airport, welcome by a Gashttour representative. Then transfer to hotel and rest. O/N Tehran

Day 2: Tehran

After breakfast, we will visit the Golestan Palace complex, which is UNESCO Heritage and dates from the 18th century AD, and then visit Bazar. Later, drive to Milad tower to have lunch there. In the afternoon meet our knowledgeable co-chef to buy the ingredients for dinner and have a cooking course. O/N Tehran

Day 3: Tehran - Shiraz

(01:15 Hour’s distance by plane)

After breakfast transfer to the airport and fly to Shiraz. Then, we will visit the Eram Garden which was built during the middle of the thirteenth century. Then, taste Faloodeh Shirazi and hear about the recipe. Later we will check in the hotels and rest. In the afternoon we will have lovely traditional music in one local house with traditional meals. O/N Shiraz

 

Day 4: Shiraz - Persepolis - Necropolis - Shiraz

We depart from Shiraz via the Quran gate, 45 km north of Shiraz stopping at Persepolis the outstanding ceremonial palace of the Achaemenian (550BC) which is UNESCO heritage. At Necropolis, we see four tombs of Achaemenian kings high in the cliffs of limestone. Then, return to Shiraz and have lunch either traditional or classic in one of the famous and good restaurants (Haft Khan) in Shiraz. Later, visit Vakil Bazaar and buy some spices from vakil bazaar and know more about spices. Included Surprise Cooking Ingredient Package! Then have dinner in one local house and instruct how the dinner is cooked. O/N Shiraz

Day 5: Shiraz - Pasargadae - Isfahan

We continue through mountain scenery to visit Pasargadae another UNESCO heritage, the earliest Achaemenian capital where the tomb of Cyrus the Great is well preserved. Then, arrive in Isfahan and have Biryani, the traditional cuisine of Isfahan for lunch and learn how to cook it based on possibility. In the afternoon after visiting Sio – Se – pol and Khaju Bridge, we’ll have a culinary course with an Armenian Family. We will be learning to cook an Armenian Meal with an English-speaking chef. O/N Isfahan

Day 6: Isfahan

In the morning, we will visit Naghshe Johan square, a huge open square in the center of Isfahan which is listed as a UNESCO Heritage. The square periphery is marked by outstanding Safavid buildings which include the Ali Qapu palace, the Imam Mosque, the Sheikh Lotfollah (ladies) mosque, and to the north the expansive bazaar where we can see artisans crafting metal work, Persian miniatures, printing intricate designs on cloth and other activities. Have lunch in Shahrzad Restaurant or Abbasi hotel Restaurant which are the best places to eat in Esfahan. Then, visit the Armenian quarter of Jolfa where the Vank cathedral and its adjacent museum are of interest. Later we visit the Friday Mosque. In the afternoon have a Persian pastry and sweets cooking course with a professional chef based on your request. Have dinner with an Isfahani Family and enjoy the Persian house gatherings. O/N Isfahan

Day 7: Isfahan - Abyaneh - Kashan - IKA

(410 Kilometers distance)

Drive to Abyaneh, an ancient fascinating village with its colorfully dressed inhabitants and ochre mud-brick houses, characterized by a peculiar reddish hue, the village is one of the oldest in Iran where little has changed for several centuries. Then, drive to Kashan and visit Fin Garden and Borujerdiyeh and Tabatabaeiha Houses. Then, have Dizi for lunch, learning about Rosewater making and its uses in culinary. Later, drive to IKA ad have dinner at Novotel Hotel next to Airport.

 

 

Day 8: Tehran - Departure

Transfer to Tehran International Airport for your departure flight from Iran.
