Thereby, measurements, restrictions, and protective protocols must start from scratch. Travelers who use the VeriFly app will be “fast-tracked” and directed to designated check-in desks upon arrival.
By using health passports, British Airways will start flights from London to the United States as several other carriers around the world have implemented a digital verification system. This method is opening a place for its own even though international travel remains harshly restricted.
Passengers using British Airways can upload their COVID-19 test results and any required travel documentation to the VeriFLY mobile app beforehand arrival at the airport.
To begin with, the trial will be available on British Airways flights from London to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Washington, Seattle, and Houston. Ultimately, it is expected from these airports in the U.S. to expand the program to flights from the U.S. to the UK. The app will be optional though. Travelers could have their documents on them at the check-in counter.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention set up a new and acted upon it, requiring international travelers coming to the U.S. to show proof of a negative COVID-19 viral test before boarding a flight.
