The 2020 troubles were not easy on the tourist industry. All over the world, even the biggest tourist destinations began suffering unbelievable losses. Whether it be Malta, Rome, London, or any of the biggest tourism capitals around the globe, jobs were lost, and the economy suffered a major blow. However, none of these cities rely solely on tourism the way the Las Vegas industry does.

Las Vegas’s bad years

The City of Sin took a major blow in 2020 when public places were shut down. Restaurants, museums, bars, nightclubs, cafes, and most importantly, casinos and hotels were no longer available. And for a city like Las Vegas, which relies in large part on the aforementioned establishments for its economy, this was devastating. People lost their jobs, establishments were shot down, and the overall quality of life suffered. However, two years afterward, Las Vegas has begun to heal.
