JetBlue Vacations customers can presently use TrueBlue loyalty points toward the flight, hotel, and rental car portions of their vacation package.
In the past, TrueBlue points could only be used for the airline portion of a trip.
With the move, JetBlue Vacations has also begun offering a hybrid redemption option, in which customers can pay for a portion of travel with cash and a portion with TrueBlue points. Any combination of cash and points can be used above a minimum TrueBlue redemption requirement of 500 points.
True Blue points still cannot be used for cruise packages. They also cannot be used to pay for travel insurance and some taxes and fees, JetBlue said.
