The world of the historical and cultural landscape of Uramanat, as the second world-registered work of Kermanshah, has begun to mobilize for the global registration of other monuments of the province like the Sassanid Archaeological Landscape of Kermanshah.
This Sassanid axis has a large number of significant works from the Sassanid period in several cities of the province, including Qasr Shirin, Sarpol-e Zahab, and Islamabad-e-Gharb, has taken place.
Amin Ghahremani, the director of the Sassanid Archaeological Landscape of Kermanshah, told ISNA about the latest measures taken to register this axis. “So far, we have done good work in compiling the global registration file of this axis, but there is still a lot of work to be done.”
“The Sassanid Archaeological Landscape of Kermanshah has been known since ancient times due to the number of prominent buildings from the Sassanid period. But in this axis includes important works from the Median and Achaemenid period to the Sassanid period and from the Sassanid period.
In Qasr Shirin, they have four landmark works of Ban Qaleh, Charghapi, Sassanid canal, and Khosrow mansion, which fortunately complete the Sassanid Archaeological Landscape of Kermanshah.
He added: In Sarpolzahab city, we have many works from the Median and Achaemenid period to the Sassanid period. We have some researchers working on them.
The director of the Sassanid axis of Kermanshah pointed out: In 1399, we were able to do good work in the field of implementation and studies from provincial and national credits, and we hope that if the number of credits is as high as last year, we will take important steps again.
He added: “According to the estimates, we need at least 700 to 800 million tomans of credit so that in 1400 we can complete about 70 to 80 percent of the studies of the global registration file of this axis.”
