Safe Travel Destinations of 2021 with Vaccination

Now that the vaccination is in progress, people who have to be hankered to travel will look for a safe travel destination. Let’s see where are the safest places you could travel to.

It seems that the fewer COVID-19 cases a country has, the safest to travel to. Also, the security measures of a country are included.

Our first Safe destination is Japan. Japan has been ranked amongst the safest countries for the second straight year. Japan ranks ninth on the 2020 Global Peace Index.

After Japan, the next safe travel destination would be Switzerland which is one of the top 10 countries in terms of peace although it has struggled in its recent handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Switzerland is a constantly safe destination that most people dream to go.

The Scandinavian region, with Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland included is the best in the world when we talk about safe travel destinations. They all come with both peace and happiness.

Let’s jump back to Asia again, the best safe travel destination from Asia would be Taiwan. While Taiwan has room for improvement when it comes to the Global Peace Index (37th), it still fares far better than the United States, which ranks 121st by comparison. CDC has given the green light for travelling to Taiwan.

Thailand entered 2021 as one of the safe travel destinations in the world. This touristic country just received a Level 1 travel advisory (exercise normal precautions) from the U.S. State Department and a Level 1 Travel Health Notice (Low Level of COVID-19) from CDC.

Back in Europe, Italy was devastated in the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and later in the last two months of 2021. However, it has a good reputation for a safe travel destination and remains one of the world’s most peaceful countries, according to the 2020 Global Peace Index.
