The late CEO of Lorestan Industrial Towns Company said: The first potential of this province is agriculture, tourism, and then industrial.
Bakhtiar Razani stated: This province is not an industrial one. The first potential of Lorestan is agriculture, tourism, and then industry.
He added that they should not neglect the comparative advantage of the province, which are mines and more than one-third of this province’s industries are non-metallic minerals (mining industries).
Razani stated: It is possible to have extensive activities in the fields of non-metallic mineral industries (mineral industries), chemical, food, and downstream agricultural industries such as aquaculture and downstream fisheries in Lorestan.
He added: “In the discussion of honey, we formed a cluster of it in Lorestan. The added value that is in the packaging of some products such as honey and saffron may not be in some chemical and metal products.
“We hope and follow the process of developing honey and saffron in the form of business and industrial clusters can develop low-lying jobs in these business areas,” he continued.
The head of the Agricultural Jihad Organization of the province said: Annually, about 3,000 tons of seeds are cultivated, threshed, processed, and packaged by seed production companies and provided to farmers.
He continued: “Due to the occurrence of drought and its consequences, it is necessary to wheat and barley fields, especially in cold regions of the province by a committee of experts and the unit of registration and certification of seeds and seedlings and buy quality seeds outside and outside. We plan to produce 25,500 tons of wheat seeds and 5,000 tons of barley seeds in Lorestan this year.”
The production cycle is put on the agenda by seed production companies and stored in warehouses outside the company’s seed production unit.
In order to provide liquidity and seeds to the province, they should make a notification based on credit.
