According to ISNA, by changing the color of most cities to orange, according to the previous coordination of the General Directorate of Museums of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts with the Corona headquarters, museums, palaces, and historical sites can resume their activities in Orange cities. That is why Tehran Palaces and Museums are open.
The museums were closed on April 18, 2021, by order of the Corona headquarters. The Director-General of Museums recently announced that museums and historical sites are under the second group of occupations that have the permission to operate in the orange state.
With the orange city of Tehran, some Tehran Palaces and Museums have announced their reopening in an announcement. Golestan Palace Complex, a World Heritage Site, and Saadabad Cultural and Historical Complex are among the centers that now are officially open. According to the circular issued by the General Directorate of Museums of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, citing the announcement of the Ministry of Health, Tehran Palaces and Museums are in a position (orange color) for a twenty-first date. On the seventh of September, 2021, the museums of these collections will reopen in compliance with all health rules and protocols and social distancing.
Visiting hours of Golestan and Saadabad collections museums and other museums are from nine am to five pm.
