COVID-19 protection

To ensure their safety, eager travelers who are thirsty to get out there and start exploring again are ready to pay for the required COVID-19 protection.

Travelers say that they will pay for mitigation and remediation in case of catching the virus. This includes provisions for the quarantine time, accommodations, facilities, and ground or air transportation.

Surprisingly, these travelers confess that they would feel more immune and safe with services and safeguards that cover pre- and on-trip COVID-19 testing, especially when it requires quarantines, evacuation costs, and travel insurance.

There are also harsh requests and pressures on governmental regulation, demanding the officials to guaranty these procedures. Based on the surveys, eighty-eight percent of travelers want governments or organizations to step in and arrange programs designed to beat COVID-19.

Global Rescue CEO Dan Richards has developed an inclusive program that can be applied by a variety of governments and groups.

Testing for positive-negative Covid-19 is a major key to the public health response in bringing this pandemic under control. Travelers are right about this point, and they would want to have access to reliable testing programs with results that come back as quickly as they could to know whether they are in danger or not.

While travelers are willing to pay for more many have also said that they would wait until lockdowns were removed by the government. One key thing that some travelers will look for is healthcare in a destination. Thirteen percent responded that they look forward to traveling only to places with modern healthcare facilities.

This survey found many categories with a new point of view, like waiting for the vaccine or a proven treatment that would take care of them. And only this is the safest way. It seems that rather being luxuries, travelers who are willing to pay for all the safety protocols, are people who take risks.
