Santa

For those too eager to track down Santa this year, with all that has happened, the quarantine and the lockdowns, we are pleased to mention that Google Angle is hosting a virtual holiday village in which you could map out dear old Santa.

Santa Claus is coming to town. What better news than this? Kids will have their joy but what about adults? We all need a red velvety Christmas, presents, and the spirit.

Google is trying to make tracing Santa easier this year. Everything will be there for you with just a click. Ok, you don’t need to be a Hogwarts expert to magic this one out. It’s just a simple spell with the wave of your fingers on the keyboard of your cellphone or laptop. Try it like this, type either “Santa” or “Christmas” into Google Search, then out of nowhere you’ll find a spinning red hat on the right side of the page. Click on it very gently and there! You are now in Santa’s Village. A happy virtual world with holiday characters, a countdown clock to the big day, and fun activities.

On the Santa’s Village, you can watch videos of Santa’s adventures or even make your own Santa, elves, and igloos, solve puzzles, and best of all, track Santa on Christmas Eve.

Based on Google Angel’s vision, Santa’s journey lasts for 25 hours. He makes his first stop just after 10 p.m. local time in far eastern Russia when it’s 5 a.m. in New York.

Do you have Google Angle’s assistant? If yes, then ask her to “call Santa” and she would put you through one of the elves in his workshop. On Christmas Day, you can also ask her to find Santa by saying, “Hey Google, track Santa” or “Hey Google, where is Santa right now?”
