Yellowstone National Park Resumed its Bus Tours

Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton allow group tours by bus as the incidence of COVID-19 has decreased and the number of vaccinations has increased across the country. According to the National Park Service rules, passengers must wear a mask on the plane.

Tour operators who give COVID-19 vaccine to passengers or test negative within 72 hours of arrival are allowed to operate at full capacity, the Yellowstone Park Service said. Operators who do not follow these steps are limited to a maximum capacity of 50% or 10 passengers.

In recent years, buses have become a popular way to explore parks, and since 2016, more than 12,800 vehicles have operated in Yellowstone alone.

Yellowstone – the world’s first official national park – covers more than 2.2 million hectares, making it larger than Rhode Island and Delaware. This area contains hundreds of waterfalls and half of the world’s hydrological features. Among them is Old Faithful, the world-famous geyser that erupts about 17 times a day.
