Night Tourism in Iran

Night tourism is one of the types of urban tourism that has not yet properly established its place in the planning and management system of our cities.

According to IMNA news, urban tourism is one of the most attractive types of tourism that helps a lot to generate income for the city; The circulation of citizens and tourists in urban spaces and the use of natural and historical attractions of the city, is now a thing among city managers and planners, and many plans are considered for its prosperity and development.

However, night tourism is not widely accepted in Iran; This has led to a lack of careful planning for it, and only the needs and desires of citizens due to the prevailing conditions, has led to the prosperity of this type of tourism.

The presence of citizens in urban spaces has been facilitated by the advancement of technology and the expansion of communication, and although there is no written plan for it, the popularity of this type of tourism is expanding, especially in the hot seasons.

Of course, the lack of coordination between the wants and needs of citizens and the laws and actions of urban management has created problems for Night Tourism.

The busy daily routine that people have, caused them to be busy on days, which is why they need to rest and have fun at night; In this regard, attractive spaces in the city must meet this need.

Citizens in developed cities are very busy and the existence of such spaces in the city is needed for fun and relaxation for Night Tourism. Of course, citizens in the southern cities of Iran cannot be present in urban spaces during the day due to weather conditions, especially in hot summer seasons, and the people of these cities are present at night in shopping and entertainment centers.
