Bahramjerd Historical Tower

The Deputy Head of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, Handicrafts, and Handicrafts of Kerman Province announced the beginning of the restoration of Bahramjerd Historical Tower in Bardsir village.

Mojtaba Shafiei announced this news today, July 30th: The restoration operation of Bahramjerd historical tower has started with a credit of 700 million Rial in the form of bricklaying and straw.

Pointing out that this tower dates back to the Qajar period, he added: Bahramjerd Historical Tower is one of the functions of Bardsir county and has a valuable historical context.

Shafiei further informed about the restoration of the historical texture of Hanza in Rabar and stated: the floor construction operation of the historical texture of this section has started with a credit of 900 million Rial.

Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage of Kerman Province stated: Hanza section is one of the functions of Rabar city, which due to its mountainous nature, welcomes many tourists and enthusiasts in different seasons.

He also pointed out that the restoration of the dome of Moshtaqieh in Kerman has started with a credit of 500 million Rials, and said: The restoration of the dome, tiles, porches around the building, arches, flooring, and landscaping of the courtyard of the building of Mushtaqieh Kerman has been done continuously over the past years alongside with Bahramjerd Historical Tower.

Shafiei pointed to the strengthening operations of parts of this building in recent years and added: Kerman province has more than 700 nationally registered works and 7,000 known works.  The restoration credits of this province are not responsible for the restoration of all historical buildings.

He stated that the Moshtaqieh building is under the management of the Endowment Office said: The Endowment Office should have the necessary cooperation and interaction with the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Kerman Province in the field of repair and reconstruction of Bahramjerd Historical Tower.
