Win a Free Trip to the Moon on SpaceX's New Starship

Can you believe that the Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa is giving away eight seats on his DearMoon spaceflight?

Things are turning in 2021. You could now go, not forward. But hundreds of thousands of miles up. The space industry has nailed it with three successful Mars missions this year. And that not it! There’s a whole lot more to come. Then again what’s perhaps most exciting for space fans is the message of two chances to win free spaceflights.

Right after Jared Isaacman announced his Inspiration4 mission that has two seats reserved for Yusaku Maezawa, he formally opened the application process for eight available seats.

In a video uploaded yesterday, Maezawa shared new details about the flight. He plans on taking his crew of 10 to 12 astronauts on a six-day lunar flyby. This means that his spacecraft will be circling the moon before heading back to planet Earth.

It is worth mentioning that This mission will be the first time civilians have left Low-Earth orbit, and the first time anyone has flown to the moon since 1972.

Candidates must meet the following two requirements:

1)      Applicants looking to be a DearMoon crew member must demonstrate a potential for individual growth from this mission and ensure their experience brings future value for the world, producing societal contributions that will benefit humankind for generations to come.

2)      Applicants must be able to support fellow crew members who have the same potential and vision.

Do you see yourself as qualified as these two requests? Are you sure? So then buckle up or… not! There’ll be no gravity to hold you.
