Egypt Tourism usually accounts for 15% of GDP. However, in April, the monthly tourism profit in Egypt reached about $ 500 million.

All the same, according to Al-Anani, Egypt Tourism hopes that by the end of this year, when the staff of tourist resorts around the Red Sea has been vaccinated and the area has become a corona-free district, the situation of the country’s tourism industry will improve.
The Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities continued with the reporters: “More than 65% of Egypt Tourism come to the Red Sea and South Sinai because they are open spaces close to the sea, and this is exactly what tourists would do after the Corona. They are looking forward to it.”
Last month, in April, an agreement was reached to resume flights between Russia and Egypt.
Al-Anani believes that Russia is one of the most important tourism markets for Egypt. By 2015, with 3.5 million Russian tourists each year, Russian tourists were among Egypt Tourism’s top foreign.
