The Chief Justice of South Khorasan issued a court order to the Director-General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the province, ordering a ban on 6 tour operators.
Hujjat al-Islam Ibrahim Hamidi stated: “Unfortunately, in recent years, tour operators in South Khorasan province, especially in the tourist areas of Tabas, in terms of non-observance of religious rites, have caused public morality and religious beliefs of people and governors of the province.”
He added that these operators have also published improper images of some tours in order to make a profit and attract special customers in cyberspace.
In order to prevent the continuation of the current unsettled process, the Chief Justice of South Khorasan Province announced in a court order to the Director-General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Province to end any presence or activity of desert tours.
Citing the public relations and communications of the General Justice of Khorasan the South, he added: “Obviously, law enforcement officers and judicial officers are obliged to prevent the entry of these tours in the province at the entry points of the province and return them to the origin.”
He reminded: the managers of the tours subject to the ban should be duly notified to refuse to accept tourists to the destination of this province until the end of the ban period, and they will be responsible for non-compliance with its provisions.
The Chief Justice of South Khorasan pointed out: Therefore, the report on the activities of Iran Zamin, Arand Tour, Ace Tour, Denali, Zhivar Alborz, and Maya Safari tours was banned for one year by the Khorasan the South Justice in this province.
This province has many touristic sites, especially the desert tours have a lot of applicants which is why though the corona pandemic is still of these operators have started their work illegally.
