Teymouri, referring to the suspension of Iranian tourist visas from last year until now and the closure of borders to foreign travelers since the outbreak of the Coronavirus, said: The initial agreement to reopen Iran’s borders to foreign tourists with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and it is safe to say that after the final preparation and approval of the rules and protocol of travel, the issuance of Iranian tourist visas will resume.
He reminded the issue of reopening the borders to foreign tourists has been raised two or three times in the Security, Social and Disciplinary Committee of the National Corona Management Headquarters, and this headquarters was supposed to issue a resolution that the country faces a British and Indian corona courier. And the matter was stopped.
He added: “The atmosphere of the specialized committees of the National Corona Headquarters was also positive towards the reopening of the borders to foreign travelers.”
Apart from the Ministry of Health, which had considerations, this plan has no other objections. The border will be finalized and re-examined by the Security, Social and Disciplinary Committee of the National Corona Headquarters so that after the approval and approval, the issuance of Iranian tourist visas will resume in the second half of July.
