According to ISNA, the “Iranian Tar” project was designed by Ali Ghamsari with a focus on tar. In this project, Ghamsari travels to different provinces of Iran and in each of these trips, he plays music in one of the historical places. The result of each of these trips and performances is recorded and published visually.

Ali Ghamsari has traveled to Qazvin, Tehran, Shiraz, Tabriz, Ardabil, Kurdistan, and Kermanshah as part of the “Iranian Tar” project. Of course, his travels are not limited to the provincial capitals. He also travels to smaller cities and records performances in each.

According to the announcement, the important point of these performances is that Ghamsari has a special look at the music of different regions; That is, the works he chooses to perform are usually based on popular melodies in the area. Also, the memory of the great musicians of each city and each region is another point that is considered in the “Iranian Tar” project.

Ghamsari went to Kermanshah on one of his most recent trips and recorded performance on the slopes of Mount Bisotun. For this performance, he has chosen a famous song by Seyed Khalil Alinejad.

Alinejad, the man who became Phoenix, was not just an artist. Master Seyyed Khalil Alinejad is an unassuming and unique figure in the contemporary history of Iran in the field of mysticism, conduct, knowledge of rich Iranian music, and playing the tambourine, which changed the soul and psyche of every human being with his wonderful and mystical voice.

Bisotun is undoubtedly one of the most important places on the planet, which has been remembered in almost every period of its history and important influence and the best ply to host the Iranian Tar project.
