India Shall Be Banned by The United States too

The United States is set to limit its travel to India from Tuesday as the Asian country continues to struggle to contain COVID-19 on its borders.

Foreign nationals who have been in India for the past 14 days are reportedly being quarantined by the order of the Biden government.

If a traveller is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, he or she should be quarantined upon arrival in the United States.

Italy, Britain and Singapore have already imposed similar restrictions on travel from India. Meanwhile, Canada, Hong Kong and New Zealand have suspended commercial air travel with the country.

According to the latest statics from the World Health Organization, India has more than 18.7 million cases of COVID-19 and more than 208,300 deaths. Official statics show that 3,500 COVID-19 deaths have been reported in India in the last 24 hours alone.
