East Azerbaijan Issuances its First Fisheries Tourism Licence

The Director of Fisheries and Aquatic Affairs of the East Azerbaijan Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization announced the issuance of the first fishery tourism license in the province by the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism in coordination with the province’s fisheries in Charavimaq.

Qasem Jafarvand, the director assigned to this matter, said that Fisheries tourism is one of the efficient sectors with the capacity of the province’s fisheries industry. East Azerbaijan, with its prosperous lands and farms, has a unique capacity in this field.

There could be several fishery tourism centres in the province, they all need essential foundations to see their prosperity in future.

He pointed out that the Aras Free Trade Zone and the border of Jolfa-Siahroud in East Azerbaijan has a high potential in this field, so the farmers of this area can apply for a fishery tourism license in coordination with this management, and in this regard, fisheries have the necessary support. He further added that they have what they need and it is time to see some action in East Azerbaijan.

The cities of East Azerbaijan, including Hashtrood and Charavimaq, are also among the cities with the capacity of the province in the field of agriculture, and the promotion of fisheries tourism is on the agenda of this management, and in this regard, its first fisheries tourism license was issued.

According to the public relations of the Jihad Agricultural Organization of East Azerbaijan, this tourism complex has been established on a 7,000 square meter land in the lands of Haji Kand village, Charavimaq city, on the banks of the Aydoghmush river, and its main activity is salmon farming. Since this centre is located on the tourist route to Manishgeh spa, it hosts a large number of tourists every year and provides services in spring and summer as one of the well-known tourism centres of the city.

Air Tourism Infrastructures Must Be Provided in Lorestan
