AgriTourism 's Largest Site in Ardabil

Moghan and Pars agro-industry complex as the largest agricultural tourism site, AgriTourism, will be inaugurated during the visit of the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts to Ardabil province.

Nader Fallahi, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Ardabil Province, stated: Moghan Agriculture, Industry and Animal Husbandry Company, including the cities of Moghan region, like Bilesvar Moghan and Pars Abad Moghan, have the large agricultural lands of 2,600 hectares of orchards, perfect for the AgriTourism.

The large livestock complex, sugar factory, dairy factory, fruit processing factory, and several other production units are considered as one of the unique companies in the region for AgriTourism, and a license for exploitation of agricultural tourism was issued for this magnificent complex.

He referred to the visit of the Minister of Cultural Heritage to Ardabil province and said: with the presence of Dr. Monsan, this AgriTourism site will be officially opened.

It should be noted that the term “agricultural tourism” or “AgriTourism” is a combination of the two words Agriculture and Tourism and is a new face of tourism and part of rural tourism.

In general, any activity that takes place on a farm or pasture and allows the general public, for entertainment, recreation, or for educational purposes, to see and enjoy rural activities such as agriculture, animal husbandry, historical, cultural activities, harvesting Hand-picked produce, natural activities and attractions are referred to as farm tourism.

The president of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences also pointed to the decline of the coronavirus in the fourth wave, considering the necessities of tourism and the obstacles that the corona has created, said:

“with the hospitalization of 42 patients and the death of another person, the situation is stable. We still hope that our compatriots will consider the observance of protocols as a principle and if so, the AgriTourism plan could bring up a new life in Ardabil.”
