One Hundred Years of Iranian Tourism Symposium has summoned thinkers, professors, specialists, and experts to study, collect documents and compile scientific and historical notes, in preparation for the beginning of the new solar century.
This Tourism Symposium aims to revive the historical trend and developments and factors affecting success in travel, and tourism invited to collaborate in the 14th century.
According to ISNA, the Tourism Symposium on One Hundred Years of Iranian Tourism with the themes of “Travel and Transportation”, “Accommodation and Hospitality”, “Hospitality, Food and Drink”, “Tourist Attractions and Destinations”, and “Travel and Tourism Services”, will be held soon.
The specialized group will take steps in line with the set goals and will be held online and in-person on October 17 and 18 of this year.
In this Tourism Symposium, in addition to holding scientific and discourse sessions, thematic exhibitions and festivals such as films, photographs, and documents will be held as needed and according to the envisaged framework.
The organizers of this event believe that a review of the first tourism in Iran in the last century will show what individuals, organizations, and institutions have taken important steps to introduce and promote this land and the highlights of the country’s 100-year history of tourism will emerge.
Since this call has a general aspect and is not a competition, to honor the efforts of those interested who will submit their works including old and new photos, films, and documents to this symposium in proportion to the awards and commendation plaques awarded and received works.
Also, after using it in the Tourism Symposium and registering it in publications (in the name of the owner of the work), it will be returned to the owner of the work upon request or in one of the museums, documentation centers, and galleries of the country upon agreement.
