The Deputy of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially declared visa-free entry to Iran for citizens of 28 countries, effective from February 4, 2024.

Individuals from these nations can now explore Iran without the need for a visa, only necessitating a valid passport. Under the policy established by the Cabinet of Ministers, these visitors are entitled to a stay of up to 15 days every six months. The list includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tunisia, Tanzania, Mauritania, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Seychelles, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus and India are included in this list. It is worth noting that, Indian nationals can enter Iran from the airways without a visa, and to enter through land borders, they must obtain a visa.
