Therefore, agritourism is not a new phenomenon, but in recent decades, Tour Operators of agritourism in the world has gone beyond the classic model of agriculture and has found more of a unique experience, recreation, and participation in agricultural work; For this reason, it is now well covered in the scientific literature and has its special interests including training tour operators.
He added: “In this type of tourism, tourists want to have different experiences in the field of visiting tourist attractions, the process of producing a particular product, participating in the process of agricultural activities, and getting acquainted with the composition of life and activities in agriculture.” Of course, this change has been created in the new method of agritourism and those Tour Operators who deliver this package, but it is more a matter of experience and education now.
Professor of Geography of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, referring to the advantages of agricultural tourism, stated: “Today, agricultural tourism has a relaxing nature for tourists, as well as the nature of remembering memories for people with rural roots, and also for some educational and others gaining experience in agriculture.”
Therefore, there is a multiple nature in agricultural tourism, and this multiple nature needs more educated and professional Tour Operators.
Sajasi continued: “In general, different countries make agritourism packages based on the interest of tourists and the other hand, according to the unique attractions of their country in the field of agriculture.”
Agriculture can be a good competitive advantage for attracting foreign tourists and so training of professional tour operators in the field of professional tourists is essential.
